 Do you want to experience what it’s like to ride with Dale Jr.? This dream can be a reality thanks to Speedway Children’s Charities and Dale Jr.’s participation in the 2010 Ride of A Lifetime which takes place at Atlanta, Charlotte, Las Vegas, New Hampshire, Sonoma (CA) and Texas race tracks. By participating in the Speedway Children’s Charities online and live (at track) auctions, you have a chance to ride with Dale Jr. during Driver Introductions before the race. The proceeds from these auctions are split between The Dale Jr. Foundation and Speedway Children’s Charities to help children who are in need so by participating you will be helping two great charities!
The mission of Speedway Children's Charities (SCC) remains true to the ideals it was founded upon in 1982: To care for children in educational, financial, social and medical need in order to help them lead productive lives. Speedway Children's Charities was founded by Bruton Smith, Chairman of Speedway Motorsports and Sonic Automotive, as a memoriam and legacy to his son, Bruton Cameron Smith, who passed away at a very young age.
